Practise all sorts of drawing skills
A course of 5 drawing classes taking place in the autumn term. Study classic tricks of the trade – how to capture light and shade, show distance, deal with ‘tricky’ topics such as foliage, fabric, people, skies, reflections etc, and learn how to manage your drawing tools – pencils, pens, charcoal and pastels. Lots of information but good fun too, and you’ll be so much more confident by the end of the course!
These 5 sessions take place in Hay Parish Hall, Hay-on-Wye, HR3 5AB, from 10am to 1pm (including 20 minute tea-break). Book the full course for £100 (it is not possible to book individual sessions).
Each of the 5 mornings continues with an optional afternoon drawing session, 2pm – 4pm, for practising your skills, improvising your drawing techniques, or getting more individual advice from Marianne. Book these 5 sessions for an extra £70.
