Dramatic still-life contrasts of bright colour and deep shadow
Wednesday 29 September
10am–4pm, lunch break 12.30–1.30pm
This date may change, depending on the Covid-19 restrictions.
We’ll use strong lighting and deep shadows to create dramatic and colourful subjects for still-life paintings; the brilliant and beautiful ‘chiaroscuro’ effects of painters of the past. Acrylics, oil pastels, soft pastels.
You will need to bring your own materials, though Marianne may be able to lend you some if necessary. When you make your booking, you’ll be sent a list of what to bring.
Suitable for all ages and skills: begnners, improvers and experienced.
It is a condition of booking that every student agrees to these Covid-19 Rules before attending any course.
Marianne is well aware of the anxieties around Covid-19 and the need to offer a safe teaching environment. Therefore, she has drawn up Covid-19 Rules and a Risk Assessment document that outlines the various necessary procedures for each day. Careful planning has gone into the design of these courses, so that on the day the whole class can relax and have fun.
